Keynote announced
The UK kids’ content industry’s annual conference has a new name. It’s now called The Children’s Media Conference and its organisers have announced that Henry Winkler is to be their first keynote speaker.
On Wednesday 30th June at 6:00pm at the Showroom in Sheffield, The Children’s Media Conference 2010 will be officially kick-started by children’s author, actor, director and producer, Henry Winkler. Winkler, author of 17 children’s books and an advocate for children's rights, is also known to many as the ‘The Fonz’ of TV’s Happy Days fame. An impassioned speaker on enabling and empowering kids, Winkler will explore the 2010 conference theme: ‘How can children’s media make a positive impact on kids’ lives?’
